This is one of my favorite shampoos when it comes to treating your scalp infections and dandruff problem.
With 3% salicylic acid, this shampoo effectively treats your dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, and even severe scalp infections. With regular use, you can see your itchy and flaky scalp returning to its normal and healthy state in just a couple of weeks. It is also unscented so won’t trouble you even if you have sensitive skin.
The only complaints that I have with this shampoo are its price point and also not a big fan of its packaging too. And you will need to use your conditioner if you have dry hair. Also not recommended for people with color-treated or chemically treated hair.

This medicated sulfate free dandruff shampoo is hard to skip.
It is one such sulfate-free anti-dandruff shampoo that will treat your scalp with gentle cleansers while hydrating it at the same time. It’s free of SLS, allergens, artificial fragrance and even essential oils. It won’t leave you scratching your head and won’t irritate your sensitive skin either.
Formulated with a high concentration of Piroctone Olamine(which is an anti-fungal agent), it treats your scalp troubles in just a couple of washes.
The only complaint we have about this shampoo is that it leaves hair dry and is not recommended to be used for longer durations. I would definitely recommend you consult with your doctor before you purchase this medicated antidandruff shampoo.

WOW Skin Science Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo
Apple Cider Vinegar is a boon for people with dandruff. I always recommend that if you have dandruff or even the slightest itchy scalp, don’t skip the ACV hair rinse.
So when WOW combined ACV into dandruff I immediately hopped on board to give it a try.
The shampoo is free of harsh chemicals like SLS, parabens, and others and also has the goodness of ACV. It does work well to treat dandruff and helps balance the natural pH of your scalp.
But it leaves hair extremely dry and quenching for hydration. I also noticed a lot of split ends after using this shampoo. Buy this SLS-free anti-dandruff shampoo if you have an oily hair type or if you are okay to do regular deep conditioning treatments.

Although this sulfate free shampoo for dandruff and itchy scalp isn’t easily available I had to add it to the list of best sulfate free dandruff shampoos.
This shampoo is specifically meant to treat dermatitis, severe scalp infections, dandruff, itchy scalp, flaky scalp, eczema, and psoriasis. The shampoo although doesn’t contain SLS but does have added fragrance which if you have sensitive skin, I won’t recommend you to go ahead and try.
Formulated with Fluocinolone acetonide it is proven to treat your scalp issues.
My only complaint about this shampoo is that it is not easily available everywhere and it is a bit heavy on the pocket.
