Have you tried Wow apple cider vinegar shampoo yet? Does WOW shampoo cause hair loss? Is Wow Shampoo good for your hair?

Well, I did try this shampoo on your request as I love experimenting with new shampoos. After emptying Sunsilk nourishing soft and smooth shampoo, I was tempted with this Wow apple cider vinegar shampoo on popular demand.

Another important reason for picking this Wow shampoo was its ingredients list. It contains apple cider vinegar, sweet almond oil, and argan oil. And someone with dry frizzy hair coupled with dandruff issues, I was intrigued.

After almost using this Wow shampoo for more than a month, I will be sharing it’s before and after effects on my hair with all the advantages and disadvantages of WOW Shampoo.

Let’s start talking.

WOW Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo Review

The shampoo comes in a nice brown bottle with a pump dispenser. The bottle looks classy but the bulky packaging isn’t travel-friendly. The shampoo has a gel-like consistency and has the fruity fragrance of apples. The fragrance is very mild though and it disappears after you rinse the shampoo off.

Wow Shampoo Benefits And Claims

WOW Skin Science Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo is a premium shampoo free of harmful sulfates and parabens. Powered with 100% pure, unfiltered, and unpasteurized Apple Cider Vinegar, Sweet Almond Oil, and Argan Oil.

It helps to balance the pH of hair and scalp, stimulating better circulation to the hair follicles, which in turn strengthens hair roots. It also helps check dandruff and flakes for a lighter, cleaner, and itch-free feel.

My Experience Using Wow Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo

The shampoo is free of SLS, parabens, and other harsh chemicals you find in your regular shampoo.

While using this shampoo the first time, I had to struggle a bit to get my hair squeaky clean. If like me, you are accustomed to using an SLS shampoo that lathers well then getting used to this shampoo might take a while.

I had to wash my hair twice just to feel the satisfaction of clean hair.

After the first wash, my hair felt not so soft despite it containing sweet almond oil and argan oil as its active ingredients. Maybe because I washed my hair twice I guess. I had to use my hair serum to tame my hair. My itchy scalp felt not so itchy after using this shampoo.

But the next time, I washed my hair, I washed just once, exactly like they recommended on their website but still, my hair felt frizzy.

I still somehow continued using this shampoo a couple of times more, and still, it dries my hair out. I didn’t notice any difference in my hair loss.

Then I made my friend try it who has oily hair and she loved its results. Her hair felt good to clean and bouncy.

I believe this shampoo would work well for people with oily hair and greasy scalp or if you have dandruff problems. But if you have dry hair like me, you might want to rethink or use a really good conditioner afterward.

Advantages Of Wow Shampoo

  • Has a fruity apple-like fragrance

A cruelty-free and vegan shampoo that contains acv, sweet almond oil and argan oil. It does work well on dandruff issues but has a drying effect. A good option for people with oily hair, greasy scalp or dandruff problems.

Does Wow Shampoo Cause Hair Loss?

There is no scientific evidence that Wow shampoo causes hair loss. However, if you notice that you are losing more than 100 hair strands a day, then its always ideal to look for another shampoo for hair fall. You can also try rosemary shampoos for hair loss.

I have had a good experience when I used a shampoo with rosemary oil.

Yay or Nay?

For my dry hair, it just made things worse. But for my friend with oily greasy hair, it worked fantastically. So decide as per your hair type. I would just like to add one thing that this shampoo contains apple cider vinegar but somehow it doesn’t work as well as your regular acv rinse.
