Appearance: The oil comes in a green colored plastic bottle with a flip shut cap that shuts tightly. I didn’t notice any leakage when I took it with me while I was traveling this month. All the necessary information has been mentioned on the package including price, ingredients and directions for using this hair fall control oil.

This trichup oil is a bit on the thicker side but still spreads easily. But it has a strong herbal fragrance which might trouble you if you have a sensitive nose. I found it a bit much too.

Winters are approaching. As always I started noticing more hair strands here and there. I am losing around 100-150 strands daily. So, this made it all the more perfect time to test out this hair oil.

The first time I opened this baby, I was greeted by a strong herbal smell. I personally am not a big fan of it. Then I discovered that the oil is pale green in color and has a thicker consistency.

Now you know the drill, to enhance the nutrients of the hair oil more, we heat it using the double boiler method before applying it. So that is exactly what I did.

The oil spreads quite easily despite being thick. I applied using my fingertips and softly massaged the oil following up with inversion method. I kept the oil overnight and then gave a little steam using my thermal cap before washing it off.

The oil gets rinsed off easily in one go leaving hair soft and shiny as it claims. I could easily ditch the conditioner afterwards. My hair felt manageable and less frizzy for the next three days.

However, for the first time, I noticed I lost a bit more hair than usual. I almost lost 200 strands this time. And that sight or that many hair strands, broke my heart. I came this close to ditching this hair oil. But somehow I gathered courage to test it out the next time too.

This time, my hair fall stayed in control. I did lose some hair but not so much as the last time.

After a month of regular use, I can definitely see a good improvement in my hair fall. Now I am losing around 50-70 hair strands per day. All I can say is this oil definitely helped me get my hair fall in control to a good extent.

Another thing that I would like to share here is that although the oil claims to treat your hair fall from within it works more aptly for treating mild dandruff. My scalp becomes very dry in winters and this one helped me with that too.

Overall, if you have mild dandruff and hair fall, you can definitely give this trichup hair oil a try.

Are There Any Side Effects Of Trichup Hair Oil?

I personally didn’t see any side effects as such. Unless you are allergic to any particular ingredient in the oil, this oil is quite safe to use.

Here is a QuickTipByHCS

If you have oily and acne prone skin, don’t keep this hair oil overnight. As it is on the heavier side and might lead to breakouts. Make sure you keep it max for 2-3 hours and not overnight.

Pros

  • Its rich in vitamins A & E
  • Adds instant moisture
  • Soothes itchy scalp
  • Controls hair fall to a certain extent
  • Easily available.

Cons

  • The fragrance is a bit too strong
  • The oil is a bit on the thick side
  • You lose more hair initially using this oil

Yay or Nay?

Honestly speaking, aside from the strong smell, I didn’t have any thing to complain about. The oil moisturizes your dry tresses from first go and treats your flaky scalp too. As for hair fall, it did help me reduce my hair fall to some extent too.

If you are facing hair fall you can definitely give this trichup hair oil a try. It takes a while to deliver results but it sure does help you with hair fall problem.
