I bought Kaya Anti Dandruff Lotion because with winters, dandruff is inevitable. My scalp becomes itchy flaky and somehow greasy too. I hate how winter ruins my scalp health. I thought this year, from the beginning of winters lets try to tackle dandruff beforehand.
I have been using it for more than a month and today I want to share how it worked.
Kaya Anti Dandruff Lotion Review
This is the first time I have tried an anti-dandruff lotion. I feared using one before because of the long list of chemicals listed on the back but one of my friends uses this one religiously and she encouraged me to give it a try.
The lotion comes in a white plastic bottle with a spill-proof flip shut cap. The lotion has a runny consistency like the one you get after diluting the shampoo a bit(hope that makes sense) and it has a mild floral fragrance.
How to use Kaya Anti Dandruff Lotion?
Apply this lotion concentrating on your scalp and leave it on for a minimum of 6 hours or preferably overnight before rinsing it off. You can read more details about this lotion and its composition here.
Price: Rs.140 for 200ml.
Shelf life: 24 months.
My Experience Using Kaya Anti Dandruff Lotion
As I mentioned I started using this lotion early n when my scalp just started getting flaky and dry. The first time I tried it, I just needed 3-4 tablespoons of lotion to cover my entire scalp. I kept it overnight and washed it off the next morning with my Himalaya medicated anti-dandruff shampoo.
My scalp felt peaceful for the entire day. I didn’t feel the need to reach out and scratch my scalp even once. So I was freaking impressed.
But the itch was back the next day. *sobs*
So far its been more than 6 weeks since I have been using and I have seen a bit improvement in my scalp. But not very much.
The day after you apply this lotion goes well but the effects aren’t very long-lasting. I will discontinue using after this bottle finishes.
If you have a very itchy and flaky scalp, you can give it a try. It will be a good break from that constant terrible itchy scalp. But I am afraid the results aren’t that long-lasting. Consider this as a temporary solution to that terrible itch.

Yay or Nay?
I don’t know.
But I will leave you with this. If you are tired of that terrible dandruff and stubborn flakes, then you can give it a try. I have doubts that it will be a good permanent solution but I can certainly say that its a good temporary fix for dandruff.
