Have you tried Satthwa Anti Dandruff Shampoo yet?
I saw a lot of my blogger peeps raving about this shampoo for dandruff and since so many of you kept asking me for a good anti dandruff shampoo, I just couldn’t help but give it a go.
Summers is a hard time for my scalp. It ruins my scalp by cursing it with itchiness and flakes. So I thought this is the ideal time to see how well this satthwa shampoo fares on dandruff and itchy flaky scalp. So far I have almost emptied this bottle and sharing my two cents after using it for almost a month.
Satthwa Anti Dandruff Shampoo Review
Appearance: The shampoo comes in a transparent bottle with a pump dispenser and looks really simple yet classy. I must commend how wonderfully they have improved their packaging over the years. Kudos!
The shampoo is slightly on the runny side especially if you are used to using a shampoo that is on the thicker side then you might find this very runny. It has an opaque transparent color and smells like lemon. The fragrance isn’t too strong to bother even if you have a sensitive nose.
Price: Rs.499 for 200ml.
Shelf life: 2 years.
Product Claims: Anti Dandruff shampoo with active ingredients like argan oil, almond oil, jojoba oil, tea tree oil & lemon oil help fights the toughest dandruff.
How To Apply Anti Dandruff Shampoo?
Rinse your hair thoroughly, then take some shampoo on your hands, apply on your scalp/hair directly and then massage it to form a rich lather. Keep in mind that this is a sulfate free shampoo and you might need a little more than a regular shampoo.
My Experience using Satthwa Anti Dandruff Shampoo
As I mentioned earlier, with summers my scalp tends to start misbehaving. I was having a terribly itchy scalp with some visible flakes. So I picked this baby up.
The first time I used this shampoo, my initial reaction was like will it actually work or do anything? And no it didn’t do much, apart from just soothing my scalp to a certain extent. But I didn’t lose hope as the shampoo was completely natural, I kept using it.
But after 4-5 washes, my flakes were almost gone and my dry itchy scalp felt really soothed as if there was n itchy scalp in the first place to even begin with. And now after using this baby almost for a month, I have noticed that it had made my scalp healthy and almost all those scalp issues are gone.
I am super impressed. This shampoo actually delivered what it claimed. Overall, If you have dry, itchy flaky scalp or even severe dandruff, then this shampoo can be a good pick for you.
