Hey Guys,

Have you tried Kama Ayurveda Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment yet?

Yes, finally I am here to share my review on this baby. I know I am a bit late to share my review on this and a lot of you have been messaging me to try it and share whether it works on hair fall, dandruff and how actually is this hair oil? So, today I will be answering all your questions and will share me detailed and honest experience using Kama Ayurveda Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment.

Kama Ayurveda Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment Review

As I mentioned above the sole purpose of trying this hair oil was you guys. So many of you requested me for this review that I had to buy it.

Appearance: The oil comes in a very simple yet very classy transparent plastic bottle with a golden cap. The bottle looks nice and is travel-friendly as well. As soon as you open the bottle, you are greeted by very strong herbal fragrance which honestly troubled my sensitive nose. But I still dared to apply the oil because of its wonderful ingredients and claims.

My Experience Using Kama Ayurveda Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment

kama ayurveda bringadi intensive hair treatment review

The oil contains a very wonderful and unique set of ingredients I am already all ga-ga over bhringraj because of its one of those holy grail ingredients that I can vouch to deliver stunning results. Along with bhringraj, the oil contains indigo which I have never used in any hair oil before. I use it in my henna and indigo hair mask and hence I was super keen to try out this baby.

The oil has a very special kind of dispenser and has two holes to dispense the oil. The oil is deep amber colored oil which is not very thick. The oil is lightweight wont weigh down your hair.

I usually have a habit of oiling my hair twice a week and keeping it overnight. But the strong smell of oil didn’t allow me to keep it more than an hour.

The oil however is easy to rinse off and leaves a beautiful conditioned and well-nourished effect on your hair. My hair felt really moisturized, frizz-free and manageable. It also soothed my itchy scalp well.

After emptying the entire bottle(which lasted me for less than 20 days), I can say that the oil is good. It definitely soothes your itchy scalp, nourishes your dry and dull hair, adds wonderful shine and I also saw my hair appear a little darker in color. Must be the effect of indigo, amla, sesame, and bhringraj.

Overall, if you have dry, dull and lifeless hair with mild dandruff, then this can be a good one for you.

Pros

  • Lightweight oil
  • Natural oil which is free of mineral oil and chemicals
  • Travel-friendly packaging
  • Nourishes dry hair very effectively
  • Adds shine
  • Reduces dandruff
  • Darkens hair color

Cons

  • Has a very strong herbal smell
  • Didn’t see any effect on hair fall or hair growth as such
  • A bit on the pricey side
HCS Rating
3.5

Summary

A good oil for dry, dull hair and mild dandruff. It definitely nourishes and adds a wonderful shine to your hair.

Yay or Nay?

Yay all the way!

If money is not the issue, definitely consider trying this baby once. It is definitely a good oil and my hair definitely feels healthier and darker. Just don’t expect your hair to be black with one bottle, it is, after all, oil and not hair color. You will only experience a slightly darker color of hair and your grays will still be noticeable.

One of the best hair oils in India for me. I rely on Parachute coconut oil, Dabur Amla hair oil and this Bringadi treatment to keep my hair soft, dandruff free and nourished, otherwise literally my hair look and feel like a broom!
