- Paul Mitchell hair products are high quality but they are available at higher price points too, aka, Paul Mitchell is not available at affordable prices unless you stock them up on some sale.
- The products have added fragrance which might irritate your scalp especially if you have a sensitive scalp or irritated scalp.
- Their shampoos do contain SLS and SLES which might cause scalp irritation and hair dryness in the long run.
- Paul Mitchell shampoo might not be safe for your hair as it contains some irritants and allergens like gluten, added fragrance, and preservatives like Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone. You might also find DMDM hydantoin which is another ingredient you need to stay long away from.
- Some of their hair products contain Dimethicone which is a silicone that might lead to product build-up on your hair and scalp.
