Have you tried using Sunsilk long and healthy growth shampoo?

As you all know I love my long Indian hair. If I could, I would have long hair just like Rapunzel.

So, when I heard about this biotin shampoo by Sunsilk and I was super duper excited. I just loved the idea of using biotin shampoo for hair growth. This actually sounded like too good to be true kind of deal. But I gave it a try just hoping to just use the Sunsilk green shampoo and watch my hair grow faster.

We all know that biotin promotes hair growth and better hair health.

Since this shampoo contains biotin, I was hopeful that it might promote my hair growth. To know my detailed experience and whether or not this Sunsilk green shampoo triggered my hair growth, keep reading.

The Appearance Of Sunsilk Green Shampoo

The Sunsilk long and healthy growth shampoo comes in really attractive packaging with beautiful green color. It’s so fresh, unique and elegant.The shampoo comes in plastic bottle with flip shut cap and all the details are mentioned on the bottle like ingredients, price, shelf life and directions for use.

The bottle looks really attractive and is travel-friendly.

The Sunsilk green shampoo has a normal consistency which is neither too thick nor too runny and is pearly white in color. It has little glitter and shine in it.

This shampoo makes your hair smell good. After washing my hair with it, the fruity fragrance stayed on for couple of hours.

My Experience Using Sunsilk Long And Healthy Growth Shampoo

As you guys know I never shampoo my hair without following my Indian hair oiling routine first.

The same I did with this Sunsilk biotin shampoo. The sad part was that I had to take little more amount of shampoo than I use usually to remove the oil. The Sunsilk green shampoo smells wonderful and the fragrance lingers on for couple of hours after washing your hair with just water.

The shampoo left my hair frizzy though. I skipped my hair conditioner and my hair were extremely unmanageable until I used Rosehip oil as my hair serum.

However my hair felt bouncy. So, far I have emptied the Sunsilk long and healthy growth shampoo and to my surprise I did grew half an inch of my hair more than my normal monthly hair growth.When I used this Sunsilk long and healthy growth shampoo with my conditioner, my hair felt soft and manageable.

I just had one complaint that it contained SLS, which doesn’t go well with my hair and scalp. And if you are someone with sensitive scalp then I would recommend you to stay away from this shampoo as the added fragrance may disrupt your scalp’s natural pH level.

Nope.

I loved the idea of growing my hair using a shampoo and being a long hair lover I was really excited to try it. But after using complete bottle my hair grew like half an inch. So, for slight improvement in hair growth rate I prefer not using shampoo that is loaded with so many chemicals.
