I recently tried Himalaya Damage Repair Protein Shampoo. My sister priced it up and I saw it lying around on my bathroom shelf. So thought of giving it a try and sharing my honest experience with you all.

Himalaya Damage Repair Protein Shampoo Review!

Product Claims: Himalaya’s Damage Repair Protein Shampoo is specially formulated for dry, frizzy and damaged hair caused by blow-drying and chemicals. The unique blend of herbs including Chickpea and Beach Almond provides nourishment and intensive conditioning from the root to the tip by repairing and strengthening the hair. Himalaya’s Damage Repair Protein Shampoo also helps protect hair from future damage.

Appearance: Shampoo comes in normal Himalaya packaging and it is spill proof. The bottle is travel-friendly too. The shampoo has a very normal consistency and light fragrance. It lathers well but you might need to use more quantity for oiled hair to achieve clean hair.

Price: It costs Rs.63 for 100 ml.

Ingredients and Directions for use: I personally loved that Himalaya has a shampoo that is so cost-effective and is free of SLS and parabens But still it contains some chemicals.

My Experience using Himalaya Damage Repair Protein Shampoo

The shampoo has a beautiful pearly white color. It smells nice and the fragrance lingers on for quite sometime after you rinse it off.

I usually oil my hair before washing, so I had to shampoo twice to achieve clean hair that I desired. My hair, however, felt a bit dry after using it instead of it claiming to repair dry hair. Even after using the conditioner my hair felt very frizzy too.

It didn’t do anything for my dandruff or hair fall either. Nor it repaired my damaged hair. I personally didn’t notice any improved result from using this shampoo.

The shampoo made my hair drier instead of repairing my hair. I guess the shampoo will work great for people with oily hair type. But be your own judge.
