I recently bought Oriflame nature secrets hot oil that claims to repair dry and damaged hair from the first try itself.

I have very dry hair and being the lazy bum I am, I was looking for a quick fix. That’s when my friend who is an Oriflame consultant told me about this oil. It made me curious and I bought it. Along with this oil, I also picked up Oriflame milk and honey hair mask. If you want to check out their latest offers, you can click here.

Today I am sharing my real experience using Oriflame hot oil.

Oriflame Nature Secrets Hot Oil For Dry & Damaged Hair

Oriflame Nature Secrets Hot Oil For Dry & Damaged Hair Review

Appearance: The oil comes in very tiny white colored plastic tubes which are very travel-friendly and spill proof. The oil smells like fresh cut coconut and has a very runny and non-sticky consistency.

Price: It costs Rs.79 for 15 ml which if from my point of view is a bit expensive.

Ingredients: This hot oil is non-sticky in nature probably because it is loaded with hell lot of chemicals.

Aqua, Butylene Glycol, Oleth-20, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Panthenol, Peg/Ppg-20/6 Dimethicone, Polyquaternium-7, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Parfum, Methylparaben, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Cocos Nucifera Oil, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Propylparaben, Sodium Benzoate.

How to Use Oriflame Hot Oil Treatment?

Place unopened tube in hot water for 1 minute, break open, massage into wet hair, leave in for 1 minute and rinse as usual.

My Experience Using Oriflame Nature Secrets Hot Oil

Oriflame Nature Secrets Hot Oil For Dry & Damaged Hair Review

I tried my hands on this hot oil because my hair is very very dry lately.

I applied the oil as directed after heating and kept it for 10 minutes. I avoided massaging the oil on my scalp because of all the chemicals and decided to only apply it to my hair.

The oil being non-sticky is a great thing if you are someone who hates stickiness and messiness on hot oil treatments. I personally don’t mind it.

After 10 minutes, I shampooed my hair using my sls-free shampoo. My hair felt really smooth after wash, there was a certain bounce and shine in my hair.

Summary

The oil definitely adds instant nourishment and shine. Also makes hair smooth. But contains parabens and other such chemicals. And they are not cruelty-free brand.

Where To Buy Oriflame Nature Secrets Hot Oil For Dry & Damaged Hair?

I got mine from my friend but it is also available on Amazon. I however don’t recommend this brand anymore since, I have chosen the cruelty-free route. And here are some other good hair oils for dry hair that you can give it a try instead.

Yay or Nay?

I have strong mixed feelings for this one.

If you have very damaged hair and want a quick fix then give it a try.

But I still feel that applying so many chemicals on your hair and scalp will definitely have some side effects in the long run. Plus, Oriflame isn’t a cruelty-free brand, so I don’t recommend this product.

Be your own judge and decide.
