Recently, I was getting requests to suggest a good face wash that would help in preventing pimples and would actually be gentle on the skin while doing so. As a strong believer of Ayurveda, neem has always been my first choice for skin care problems. I actually have a soft corner in my heart for the products that contains neem. That’s when I got my hands on this VLCC neem face wash. It claims to prevent pimples and nourish your skin at the same time.

VLCC is a brand that needs no introduction and when I came to know about this neem face wash I just couldn’t resist. I knew I had to give it a try and share my experience with you guys. There are a lot of neem face washes available in the market. But what caught my attention is that this Face wash not only contains neem but also contains chamomile and tea tree extracts.

Appearance

The face wash comes in a normal transparent tube with tight flip flop cap that shuts properly making it travel-friendly. The packaging looks quite simple yet pretty chic. All the necessary details are mentioned on the pack too. The face wash costs Rs.95 for 100 ml.

The face wash is fresh dark green in color. You just require a small pea sized amount to wash your entire face which really impressed me. The face wash has the mild refreshing smell. It kind of smells like tea tree with a slight hint of chamomile. I loved the smell.

My experience with VLCC Neem Face wash

The first time, I got my hands on this face wash, I got attracted by its fresh green color. I have used other neem face washes in the market but this face wash looks much more fresh in color. The first time I used it, I took small pea sized amount of face wash. It lathered really well and had a really soothing effect on my skin. My face felt instantly refreshed.

It is a soap-free formulation which does not dry out your skin but cleans it gently. The face wash is meant for normal to oily skin but worked great for my dry skin too. I just had to use normal moisturizer after it. After using it for quite some time, my skin has started glowing and little acnes have started fading too.

Yay!!! I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about this product and I am super happy about it. I definitely recommend you to give it a try once. It’s refreshing and summers must have. Plus if your skin is prone to pimples, this is definitely the product you should opt for.
