Have you tried Deyga Organics products yet?

Being the daughter of an Ayurvedic doctor, I am a huge believer in all things natural.

And one day while browsing the internet, I came across Deyga Organics founder Arthi Raguram’s interview. In the interview when asked about the ingredients she uses in her products, she said,

“I get tea tree oil from Australia, shea butter from Ghana, and argan oil from Morocco. I have tied up with international suppliers and 60 farmers from around the country. I also grow aloe vera and coconut in my farm. For sunflower oil, we get the seeds that are then sun-dried and cold-pressed,” she says.

Deyga Organics products appealed to me due to their different ingredients list and high-quality manufacturing process. So curious beauty blogger in me, picked up three products from their online store to try out:

  • Deyga Organics Tea Tree Toner
  • Deyga Organics Aloe Vera Gel
  • Deyga Organics Charcoal Bath Soap

And after using these babies for a while, let us discuss how they fared on their claims.

Deyga Organics Tea Tree Toner Review

Deyga Organics tea tree toner

With monsoons greeting us, my skin often tends to break out. The only ingredient that works well for my acne is tea tree oil. I often use diluted tea tree oil as my toner in monsoons.

So when I came across their tea tree toner, I knew I had to try it.

Ingredients: Steam Distilled Tea Tree Leaves.

Price: Rs.470 for 100ml.

My Experience Using The Tea Tree Toner

The toner comes in a see-through plastic bottle with a spray nozzle which I appreciate. I am super lazy and I adore such packaging that is more convenient.

It has a mild fragrance of tea tree which isn’t too strong and doesn’t linger for a longer duration. And even if it did, I adore the fragrance of essential oils.

I make it a point to use the toner after my Himalaya face wash and instead of wiping it off, I let the toner sit on my skin for a while. Then I follow it up with their aloe vera gel. These same products have become my daily go-to skincare essentials.

After using this baby for a while, my skin is less irritated this monsoon. I mean it still is due to terrible weather and added dandruff issues. But it is working well for my skin.

I loved this toner to the bit, but I just have one con to share. The tea tree toner has a bit of a drying effect on my skin. I have used tea tree oil in the past and it is anyway drying but this toner leaves skin a bit more craving for your moisturizer.

So if like me you belong to dry skin family, then a good and extra hydrating moisturizer is a must after this. For oily skin people, this will work like a charm.

Deyga Aloe Vera Gel Review

Deyga aloe vera gel review

I love aloe vera gel.

I use it for my hair, for my skin and I am even using it in my weight loss journey.

I simply adore it.

Thus when I saw that it is one of the purest aloe vera gels available in the market, I knew I had to get it right away.

Ingredients: Aloe vera Extract

My Experience Using Deyga Aloe Vera Gel

The gel comes in plastic tub packaging which is quite travel-friendly. The Deyga aloe vera gel isn’t as sticky as the natural one you have in your garden and it didn’t have any fragrance either.

If you are a huge fan of products with high fragrance, then you might be disappointed here.

As for me, I am pretty okay with it since with added fragrance you are bound to get added harsh chemicals. So I kinda prefer it this way.

Coming from dry skin and hair family, aloe vera gel has always been a soothing ingredient. My skin feels dry just minutes after using a good moisturizer.

When I used Deyga organics aloe ver gel, it wasn’t that sticky and within just a minute it got completely absorbed into my skin without leaving a trace. My skin felt hydrated and nourished.

Although at night, I had to reach out to my night cream and serum for that extra hydration during the daytime, but  still it worked well. I wasn’t desperately searching for moisturizer after layering this baby on my skin.

Overall, I found this aloe vera gel nice and soothing. It doesn’t leave skin sticky or stretchy after use and it gets absorbed quickly. I am yet to test it on my hair. But I will share that on my Instagram soon.

Their Charcoal Bath Soap Review

Deyga Organics charcoal bath soap review

I am a huge fan of handmade bath soaps.

I love how they look, i love their fragrance and most of all I love how wonderful they make my skin feel afterwards.

Although charcoal dries my skin out. But since this soap had no artificial fillers in it, I gave it a try.

Ingredients: Activated Charcoal Powder, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Tea Tree Essential Oil, Unrefined Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.

Price: Rs.410 per soap bar.

My Experience Using Charcoal Bath Soap By Deyga Organics

The soap comes wrapped in butter paper which is inside a cute little bag. It felt really cute reminded me of opening cute presents on my birthday when I was little.

The soap doesn’t have too strong fragrance but it still has a raw castor oil fragrance. It doesn’t linger on for long still it isn’t a pleasant one.

The bar lathers well despite being free of surfactants. And it adds a nice clean feeling at the end of the shower.

Just a quick tip, it doesn’t get rinsed off easily, maybe due to the oils in it but you need a little extra shower time while using this baby.

The best part about this handmade soap was that it doesn’t dissolve as fast as the other handmade soaps in the market. It lasts longer.

I felt my skin was super clean and bright after every shower but I found myself reaching out to my body lotion afterward.

This is a good fit for oily skin people or if you have acne or even tanning troubles. If you are from a dry skin family, either opt for their different variant or keep a good body lotion handy.

Yay or Nay?

I had a blast trying out their naturally crafted handmade products.

After ages, I found a good brand that actually delivers high-quality natural products. I know their charcoal bath soap and I wasn’t an ideal match but I would recommend their products especially the toner and the aloe vera gel. Can’t wait to use the aloe vera gel on my hair.
